Anderson, 48, received Elon’s Distinguished Alumna of the Year Award in 2000, the same year she joined Wendy’s as executive vice president and CFO. She has managed key areas of the corporation including Strategic Planning, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Information Technology and Wendy’s Bakery.

Anderson grew up in the town of Elon and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting. She has an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
