Kitty Parrish, Director of Health Services, and Jana Lynn Patterson, Associate Dean of Students, participated as observers in the statewide Avian flu pandemic simulation/exercise May 25 and 26 at the Guilford County Emergency Services Office in Greensboro. The simiulation allowed Parrish and Patterson to observe and evaluate procedures as several counties across the state worked with state offices and officials to test protocols and emergency response systems in the event of an avian flu pandemic.
