Dr. Anthony Mancuso, of the Mathematics department, is co-author of an article which has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Agricultural Economics (JAE). The paper, entitled “Nonparametric Modeling of Spatial Price Relationships,” was co-authored by Dr. Barry Goodwin of N.C. State University and Dr. Teresa Serra, a visiting scholar at UC-Berkeley. In this work, arbitrage behavior in U.S. egg markets is investigated using both parametric and non-parametric regression techniques.
