Three papers written by William Burpitt, Love School of Business, have just been presented at the August, 2006 annual meetings of the Academy of Management. All three describe various organizational responses to industry level decline, with emphasis on the performance implications of these strategies. Two of the papers were co-authored with Dr. Sally Fowler, American University. Burpitt was sole author of one of the three.
