Barnett and Roselle have paper accepted

Brooke Barnett, associate professor of communications, and Laura Roselle, professor of political science, have had a paper accepted for presentation at the 2006 British International Studies Association (BISA) meeting. The paper, “Patriotism in the American News: The Effect of an Uncritical American Public on International Relations,” reports the results of research on how viewers regard patriotic and neutral images in television news. The BISA conference will take place December 18-20 in Cork, Ireland.
