Senior Lecturer Lisa Beuerle and Assistant Professor James Beuerle, both in the mathematics department at Elon, recently planned and led a full-day workshop for the faculty at Burlington Day School. Burlington Day School is a local private school for students in Pre-K through 8th grade. They presented the faculty with better ways of assessment, discussion of different learning styles, ways to better strive for conceptual understanding, and a demonstration of popular mathematical technology.
