The Philosophy Department of Elon University will host the Second Annual Working Seminar on Philosophy as Transformative Practice in March 2007. The first Working Seminar, held in October 2005, attracted participants from across the country (and even one from the United Kingdom!). This year’s event will focus even more specifically on the philosophical meanings of transformation and concrete ways of engaging with those meanings, both within and outside of the classroom.
