Lunsford presents in Spain

Ernie Lunsford, Professor of Spanish, presented a half-day workshop at the annual meeting of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP)this past summer. The AATSP, which alternates its annual meeting between venues in the United States and a Spanish or Portuguese-speaking country, was held this year in Salamanca, Spain, home of Spain’s oldest university. Lunsford’s workshop was titled: “Sin pelos en la lengua: cómo usar canciones para abordar temas delicados.”

Lunsford is currently on sabbatical, starting work on the textbook of ¡A su salud!: Introductory Spanish for Health Professionals. This textbook will be part of a multi-media package being produced by an interdisciplinary team at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
