Fred Rubeck, chair and associate professor of performing arts, recently attended the Association for Theatre in Higher Education (ATHE) conference in Chicago, IL. He was producer for the staged reading of “Going After Cacciato” a new play by Romulus Linney that won the David Mark Cohen National Playwriting Award. He was also Co-presenter for a panel titled: “Nail That Audition.” During the conference, Fred assumed his new role of Chair and Focus Group Representative for the Playwrights Program of ATHE. He was also appointed to the ATHE Strategic Planning Committee.
