Luncheon works on etiquette, interviewing skills

Senior political science majors gathered Thursday, Nov. 30 for a luncheon hosted by the Career Center to learn more about interviewing skills and etiquette. Pam Brumbaugh, director of experiential learning in the Career Center, coordinated the event, which is part of a “transitioning from Elon” component of the political science senior seminar. Throughout the semester, seniors have explored job opportunities, investigated graduate school programs and learned various networking and interviewing skills.

Presenters at Thursday’s luncheon included Brian Allen of Goldtoe Manufacturing, Melanie Rights and Kimberly Blackwell of Enterprise Rental Car, and Katie Overby and Lori Jeffries from the Alamance County District Attorney’s office. Elon staff members Rhonda Kosusko and Teresa Walker also assisted students with interviewing skills.
