Three faculty members from different departments on campus have co-authored an article that will appear in the Global Education Journal.
David Noer, Frank S. Holt Jr. Professor of Business Leadership; Jennifer Platania, assistant professor of economics; and Christopher Leupold, assistant professor of psychology, collaborated to write “The Impact of Culture on Coaching Behaviors: A comparison of English, French, German, and Indian Managers.” The authors administered the Coaching Behaviors Inventory “to managers from each of these countries to assess the frequency with which they exhibited assessing, challenging and supportive coaching behaviors,” according to the article’s abstract.
Noer emphasized the interdepartmental nature of this paper, saying “it is a good example of collaboration between departments at Elon.”
