Men in Elon fraternities have been recognized for academic success in a report by the North American Interfraternity Conference (NIC).
Elon is one of only eight universities out of the more than 800 nationwide that have Greek organizations where the all-fraternity GPA is at least 0.25 points above the non-fraternity GPA. The other seven schools are:
- Baldwin-Wallace College
- Birmingham-Southern College
- Oklahoma State University
- Idaho State University
- Shorter College
- Emporia State University
- University of North Alabama
