What a spectacular year 2006 has been at Elon University!
Students
were engaged in their studies on campus and abroad, and in volunteer
activities that earned the University recognition as one of the top
three schools in the nation for community service.
We
opened the Elon University School of Law, the Ernest A. Koury, Sr.
Business Center and The Oaks student residence complex. Construction
began on two new pavilions in the Academic Village as well as a new
dining hall and two residence halls.
The life of our
community was enriched by a spring Celebration of academics and the
arts, and by addresses by Gen. Colin Powell, U. S. Supreme Court
Justice Sandra Day O’Connor and journalist Ben Bradlee.
Students, faculty/staff, alumni, parents and friends all contributed in powerful ways to advance Elon.
