A new scholarship endowed by Willard “Bill” Mills of Cary, N.C., and his mother, Helen Mills Gardner, will benefit a North Carolina student, preferably a business major.
The Mills Family Endowed Scholarship will be awarded based on financial need or merit. Bill Mills graduated from Elon in 1969 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He and his mother chose to endow this scholarship to help make an Elon education available to a student from their home state.
