Feb. 5: Moot appellate argument by Federal Public Defender

Students are invited to attend a moot appellate argument by an attorney with the Federal Public Defender for the Middle District of North Carolina who is preparing for an oral argument before the United States Supreme Court later in February. A panel headed by Distinguished Jurist in Residence James Exum and Law School Advisory Board Member Rhoda Billings, both former North Carolina Supreme Court Chief Justices, and including Elon Law Professors Catherine Dunham, Steve Friedland and Alan Woodlief, will judge the moot argument.
