Burpitt’s second paper on small firms’ response to foreign competition accepted

The second in a series of research papers by Bill Burpitt, faculty in the Love School of Business, focusing on how small firms respond to foreign competition has been accepted for publication. This paper, “Entrepreneurial Strategies in a Declining Industry,” uses a case-based qualitative methodology to explore how such firms can overcome resource constraints and inertia to fashion effective responses to low-wage, off-shore competition. The paper has been accepted for publication by the Journal of Small Business Strategy.
