David “Muddy” Waters ’93 served as assistant director on the recently released film, “We Are Marshall.” The film, which recounts the story of the plane crash that killed 75 players and coaches on Marshall University’s 1970 football team, premiered in theaters Dec. 22.
Waters has served as an assistant director on “Miss Congeniality” and “About Schmidt,” earning the required hours necessary for him to join the Los Angeles Directors Guild of America.
