After the first week of competition in RecycleMania 2007, Elon is in 97th place out of 140 schools in the Per Capita division. Elon is in third place out of 5 North Carolina schools entered in the competition.

In the targeted materials-cardboard category, Elon is 44th out of 83 schools. In aluminum, plastics and glass, Elon is 42nd out of 87 schools.
David Worden, manager of environmental services, reports that Elon’s totals for week 2 in the aluminum, plastic and glass category is 380 more than week one, and he encourages everyone to keep up the good work.
