After the second week of competition in RecyleMania 2007, Elon is in 87th place out of 157 schools in the Per Capita division. Elon is in third place out of 5 North Carolina schools entered in the competition.
Elon collected 8,090 pounds combined weight of cardboard, aluminum, plastic, glass and paper related products last week, a 2,000-pound increase from the first week of competition.

In the targeted materials-cardboard category, Elon is 39th out of 91 schools and second among the 5 North Carolina schools. In aluminums, plastic and glass, Elon is 35th out of 98 schools and second among state schools.
Continue doing your part to help Elon climb the charts in RecycleMania 2007! Look for the containers with the green lids throughout campus and toss your cans and bottles in! Paper should go in containers with blue lids.
