Elon hosted the NC District Export Council (DEC) in McKinnon Hall on March 6th. The NC DEC is made up of business leaders who have been appointed as Honorary Consuls by the US Secretary of Commerce. DEC members serve as advisors to government and business to help North Carolina companies be more competitive in the global economy.
Dr. John Burbridge, dean of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, Dr. Larry Basirico, dean of International Programs, Dr. Scott Buechler, associate dean of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business and Director of the Elon MBA Program, and Bob Weston, director of Executive Education, spoke to the group during their luncheon about undergraduate, MBA, and executive programs at Elon, focusing on international education and global business and Elon’s high study abroad ranking and recognition for internationalization of its curriculum.
