The second orum will be held:
- March 7: 3 p.m., Whitley Auditorium
The plan was developed by the Environmental Council. These sessions will focus on two main issues:
1. Did the council miss some important items?
2. What is your reaction to the priority listing, and in your opinion, how should it be modified if necessary?
This plan calls for our community to pay greater attention to, and have greater institutional awareness of, these important issues. We will all have to behave in different ways and help each other to have the discipline to do so. Finally, we will have to wrestle with the realities of our priorities, which will be a challenge at some times, but certainly one which we should and must do. Our collective commitment to sustainable practices will help define our institution, inform our community and teach succeeding generations of students our values.
We are eager to discuss this with you and look forward to hearing your comments.
