Sophie Adamson, assistant professor of French, presented at the 20th and 21st Century French and Francophone Studies International Colloquium in College Station, Texas, on Friday, March 23. She was chair of a session about North African literature in French and presented a paper on literary representations of so-called “French hospitality” toward immigrants of Maghrebian (Moroccan, Tunisian and Algerian) descent.
