“Southern Style,” a 2004 production by Elon Television Services featuring trustee Jeanne Robertson, will be rebroadcast on XM Satellite radio in special encore broadcasts July 30. The program will air on “Comedy Pinata,” USA Channel 151, the Family Comedy Channel, at 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. eastern times (5 a.m. and 5 p.m. western times).
The program took place in Whitley Auditorium, with production coordinated by TV Services chief Linda Lashendock and a crew of students and staff members. Robertson, a nationally known humorist, mentions Elon a number of times during the program.
XM Radio has more than 8 million subscribers, and those who are not subscribers can sign up for a free trial run to listen to the program.
Robertson produced a new program with Elon television this year at Burlington’s Paramount Theatre. The program, titled “Flat-out Funny” will have its World Premier in August. Details of the premier are forthcoming.
