The screen’s programming, animation and graphics will further engage fans in the sporting events through instant replays, video features and full motion player profiles.
PhoenixVision will also be used to recognize and carry messages from Phoenix athletics corporate sponsors.
“PhoenixVision is part of a program that enhances our marketing efforts,” says Dave Blank, athletics director. “Adding a video board in the football stadium… allows us to have more corporate involvement, and be partnered with more people in the community here at Elon.”
PhoenixVision is possible through a partnership between Elon Athletics and Action Sports Media, a Knoxville, Tenn.-based company.
Phoenix fans can see the new PhoenixVision at the first home football game on Sept. 8 against West Virginia Wesleyan.
