Fitness expert to speak with students Sept. 7

Brendon Hale, assistant director of the President’s Challenge program, which encourages Americans to make physical activities part of their everyday life, will visit campus Friday, Sept. 7, to speak with physical education students. The university community is invited to attend the discussion.

“He’s going to be talking to future physical education teachers about using the President’s Challenge in their classes when they go out to become teachers,” said Walter “Wally” Bixby, an assistant professor in the Department of Health and Human Performance who, as Hale’s friend, invited him to campus.

Hale will speak at 9:25 a.m. in Koury Center 141. For more information, contact Bixby at 278-5801 or wbixby@elon.edu
