The Burlington Times-News featured retired religious studies faculty member Carol Chase in a Sept. 11 article. Chase was a leading authority on the work of author Madeleine L’Engle, who died last week at the age of 88. Chase developed a friendship with L’Engle and wrote a book titled “Sun Catcher: A Study of Madeleine L’Engle and her Writing in 1995.” Chase also hosted L’Engle on two visits to campus.
