Special parking arrangements for Saturday’s football game

This Saturday, Sept. 29, Rhodes Stadium will host the largest crowd in its history as the Phoenix takes on Appalachian State University in the Family Weekend football game. Two additional parking areas will be opened to accommodate the large crowd. Read this note for details...

There will be no charge for parking in these two lots:

1.     South Campus Driving Range—access parking from Trollinger Avenue by the railroad tracks (between Oak Street and Williamson Avenue).

2.    Oak Street Lot- access from Oak Street, just east of Magnolia Cemetery near Truitt Drive.
Note:  Front Street becomes Oak Street as one approaches Elon from the east.

As in the past, Appalachian State fans will be asked to park at the Fire Station Fields on Williamson Avenue. Please follow the parking signs. You should allow enough time to park and walk to Rhodes Stadium.  Please park only in designated parking areas. Note there is short-term parking at the stadium for those assisting persons with disabilities into the stadium.

The Town of Elon will be closing Lebanon Ave. at 10 a.m. in order to accommodate pedestrian traffic to campus.
