Religious Studies Professor L.D. Russell will be reading an excerpt from his book Godspeed: Racing Is My Religion, on October 30th at 6 pm in the Isabella Cannon Room. Godspeed records Russell’s visits to rural racetracks, and his conversations with Nascar chaplains and fans about their love of the sport. There will be desserts on hand as well as wonderful discussion and we look forward to seeing you there!
