Heidi G. Frontani, Associate Professor of Geography presented a paper titled ‘Media Image and Social Integration of Liberian and Togolese Refugees in Ghana’ at the 50th annual meeting of the African Studies Association held in New York City, Oct. 17-21. The paper was the result of research conducted with two Elon students, Kristine Silvestri and Amanda Brown. Silvestri and Brown are both members of the Periclean Scholars, Class of 2010 for which Frontani serves as faculty mentor.
