Oaks Halloween Bash on Oct. 30

On Tuesday, Oct. 30, the Oaks Executive Council will be hosting a community Halloween gathering.

From 5-7 p.m., trick-or-treating games, and refreshments will be open to the community. Parents, feel free to bring your children out and join in the festivities! All events will be overseen by members of the Oaks Executive Council, and volunteers will be stationed to guide the trick-or-treaters around the apartment buildings.

This is an event open to students, faculty, staff, and the community. Everyone is encouraged to come out and join the fun.

There will be a Halloween Costume Contest, for the children. Prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

The committee is also sponsoring a pumpkin carving contest. Oaks residents will submit their pumpkin and all entries will be set out during the Halloween Bash. Please come out and vote for your favorite. The winner will receive a $25 gift certificate.

Winners of both the costume contest and pumpkin carving contest will be announced at 6:45 p.m.

We look forward to seeing everyone who comes out. It will be a fun-filled night for kids of all ages!
