Syngenta, LabCorp, CCL Managers Earn Certificate in Project Leadership

Managers from several area companies were awarded their Certificate in Project Leadership through Elon University Executive Education this week.  To earn the certificate, students must complete a rigorous course of study including a minimum of four courses or three courses and three seminars in the Project Leadership offered through Elon ExecEd in collaboration with Tanden LLC.  Certificate recipients earning their CPL through the open-enrollment series included Sonya Dixon from the Center for Creative Leadership, Doug Chism, and D.J. Rice from LabCorp. 
 
Several managers and executives from Syngenta, NA, a leading international crop science and biotechnology company with headquarters in North Carolina also earned their Certificate in Project Leadership through a special version of the Project Leadership Series tailored specifically for Syngenta employees.  Recipients included Kurt Carmean, Steve Cosky, Dirk Drost, Lee Hubbard, Allen Lo, Edgar Saravia, William Schilling, and Joe Yoder.
 
Tanden LLC is a Project Management Institute Global Registered Education Provider based in Raleigh, NC.  The NC Piedmont Triad chapter of PMI is our promotional partner for the Project Leadership Series.  Certificates were presented at the conclusion of the Project Risk Management courses delivered at Elon University’s new Koury Business Center at and at Syngenta NA’s national headquarters in Greensboro. 
 
Elon University Executive Education will conclude its 2007 Project Leadership Series offerings with the PMP Certiification Exam Preparation Course on December 10 – 13.
