Thomas Erdmann, Professor of Music – For the third issue in a row Erdmann is the author of all three 6,000-word front-cover articles in the new issue of Saxophone Journal. His articles in this issue are on jazz artist Kenny Garrett – considered by many the top jazz alto saxophonist of today, Emilio Castillo – founder and tenor saxophonist in the band Tower Of Power, and David Stambler – Professor of Music at Penn State University. Erdmann has now had over 90 articles published in a wide variety of professional journals.
