Pautz presents at political science conference

Michelle Pautz presented a paper at the 66th Annual Midwest Political Science Association National Conference, held April 3-6 in Chicago, Illinois.  Pautz’s paper, “Inspectors and Regulated Officials:  Are Their Relationships Adversarial?” details a portion of her dissertation research on the nature of the relationships between environmental compliance inspectors and facility personnel in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

The pervasive notion that inspectors and regulated individuals have poor relationships is refuted in Pautz’s research.
