Dr. Shannon Duvall, assistant professor of Computer Science, authored an article entitled, “A Mental Makeover for the Graduate Student” that appeared in the July/August edition of the magazine IEEE Potentials, a periodical sponsored by the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
The article gives practical advice for success in graduate school, especially for underrepresented minorities. The article is part of a larger effort to support women and minorities in computing.
