Matthew Buckmaster, assistant professor of music and education, wrote a commentary article for the Burlington Times News.
The article, “Music plays a role in child development,” discusses answers to the question of whether listening to music will make one’s child smarter. Buckmaster wrote the column at the request of the Alamance Citizens for Education and the Enrich Task Force, who regularly sponsor educational articles in the Times News.
