Hunt
is a professional chemist, the immediate past president of the American
Chemical Society and a leader of the Technology Partnerships, Emerging
Technologies of the Rohm and Haas Company. She is a strong and
successful advocate for continued development of green chemistries or
environmentally sustainable chemical processes and products in science
and industry.
