Alec French, adjunct professor in the department of Health and Human Performance, was honored with the “PEA Lifetime Achievement Award”, Nov. 21st, by the North Carolina Alliance of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance at their annual convention in Winston-Salem, NC.
Alec has served as an elementary school health and physical education teacher for over 20 years with the Alamance-Burlington School System. He has also been a member of the adjunct faculty at Elon for over 10 years. Alec has been involved as a physical education leader in local, state, and national professional organizations and has earned numerous awards including the PEA Honor Award and Teacher of the Year.
