Bill Burpitt publishes research article

Bill Burpitt, faculty member in the Love School of Business, has published an article, “Exploration versus exploitation: Leadership and the paradox of administration,” in the Journal of Behavioral and Applied Management, 2009, Vol. 10, No. 1.

Focused on small firms, the paper explores the effectiveness of transformational versus transactional leadership in responding to disruptive environmental change and the ability of the firm to balance exploitation of its existing domain against the need to explore new ventures and modes of operation.
