Elon sophomore Amanda Leigh Clark was recognized this week with an honorable mention in the 2009 Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship Program, which awards scholarships to students planning for careers in science, math and engineering.

Mark Kurt, an assistant professor of economics, presented his working paper, “New Observations Regarding Individual Heterogeneity and Inter-industry Wage Differentials," at the 2009 Midwest Economics Association Annual Meetings in Cleveland, Ohio, on March 21.
