June 15, 2009

Three Elon University faculty members and two recent graduates presented research papers June 11 to the 5th Annual Symposium on Service Learning and Civic Engagement at Western Carolina University. Public access to Belk Library limited for interior work

June 15, 2009

The first floor of Belk Library is getting new carpeting starting June 29. The library will remain open during this period, but the front doors will be locked to walk-in traffic. Instead, Elon students, faculty, and staff should use their Phoenix Cards in the card swipe reader to the right of the front doors for access. Computers will be available on the second floor, and library staff will circulate materials as usual. The project is expected to take two to three weeks to complete. All information will be posted on the front doors with a phone number for those needing help. Belk Library will not be open to visitors and community users except in unusual circumstances. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to use the library as they normally would but must have their Phoenix Card to gain access.
