Phil Miller, lecturer in the Human Service Studies department, is presenting research July 17 at the 12th Annual Clinical Social Work Summer Institute in Wilmington, N.C.
His presentation, “Effectively Counseling Military Couples Using John Gottman’s Marital Model,” draws upon his extensive experience providing mental health services to military couples and offer conference participants practical intervention methods.
