Katie Nash, Archivist and Special Collections Librarian at Belk Library, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Preservation Consortium (NCPC), a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of collections in our State's libraries, archives, museums, historic sites, and other heritage institutions.
NCPC offers free preservation information and consultations via phone or email with referrals to respected experts in the field, provides affordable continuing education workshops on a variety of preservation topics, sponsors an annual conference, and awards preservation grants to assist North Carolina libraries, archives, museums, and historic sites meet their preservation goals.
