Elon staff members receive NCHO service awards

Elon University staff members Yvette Ross, Allen Poe, Clifton Johnson, and Janis Baughman received R. Randy Rice Service Awards from the North Carolina Housing Officers Association (NCHO) at the group's Oct. 23 annual conference in Chapel Hill.

R. Randy Rice Service Awards are given to staff at individual institutions who have gone beyond the call of duty and/or service to support the mission, goals, and/or activities of the Residence Life and/or Housing program.

Ross, the program assistant for Danieley Center, was nominated for her support of the residents and staff of Danieley Center. Poe, Chief of Security, was nominated for his support of the Residence Life staff in security matters. Johnson, assistant director of Moseley Center – facilities scheduling and conferences, was nominated for his support of the Residence Life staff during Summer Camps and Conferences.

Baughman, director of student activities, was nominated for her support of the programming efforts of the Resident Student Association.
