Elizabeth White '06 passed away Nov. 13 after a two-year battle with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. She died peacefully with her family and closest friends at her side.
As a student at Elon, Elizabeth was active in the School of Education, leadership programs and Alpha Chi Omega sorority. After graduating from Elon in 2006, Elizabeth taught second grade at Our Lady of Good Counsel School in Vienna, Va.
A wake/viewing will take place at the Our Lady of Good Counsel Chapel in Vienna, Va., on Tuesday, Nov. 17, from 6-9 p.m. The Rite of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 1 p.m. at the Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.
In lieu of flowers, the White family requests donations be made to the Our Lady of Good Counsel Young Teachers Assistance Fund in memory of Elizabeth White, P.O. Box 97, Vienna, VA 22183-0097.
