Thirty-seven candidates in Elon’s doctor of physical therapy program received their degrees on Dec. 6, 2009, in a ceremony featuring an address from John D. Childs, associate professor and director of research for the U.S. Army in the Baylor University doctoral program in physical therapy.
Childs is also an associate professor with the U.S. Army in Baylor University’s Post-Professional Doctoral Program in Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy, and he is chief of the United States Air Force Physical Medicine Research and Practice Activities.
Program leaders presented three awards to graduating students before Elon University President Leo M. Lambert conferred degrees on the candidates.
