Lauren Kearns, assistant professor of dance and head of the dance program, was the 2009-2010 guest artist for the Winston-Salem All County Dance Consortium.
She taught a master workshop in the technique she is developing, “Somatics in Action,” for secondary dance educators and set her dance piece “CUBED” on 26 all-county dancers.
Dance majors Kara Griffin, Erin Fitzgerald, Rachel Perlman, and Andi Work assisted her.
