McEwen Dining Hall will remain closed for the next several days as contractors repair plumbing problems in the building. The building was closed Thursday, Feb. 4, after it was discovered that drain lines from the dishwasher and floor drains had developed leaks in the kitchen area and underneath the building.
All other waste lines in the building were checked and no other problems were found. On Friday a contractor started to remove the water from the dishwashing drain lines and began repairs of several drain pipe connections.
