Jon Metzger, associate professor of music, adjudicated and performed at the Essentially Ellington Regional High School Jazz Festival in conjunction with Jazz at the Lincoln Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on Feb. 25.
Metzger judged the jazz combo division, and performed with the UNC-Chapel Hill jazz ensemble and other guest artists and clinicians including Steven Anderson, piano, Ivan Renta, tenor saxophone, and Jason Marsalis, drums.
