Lynn R. Heinrichs, associate professor of computing sciences and business, served as a panel moderator and workshop presenter at the 2010 meeting of the Decision Sciences Institute, Southwest Region (SWDSI) in Dallas, Texas, March 2-6.
The panel discussion, “Imagining Information Systems in 2015,” explored challenges and opportunities for information systems programs in the future. The workshop, “Integrating Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) in the MIS/CIS Curriculum,” introduced participants to SharePoint fundamentals, ideas for course assignments, and online instructional resources. SharePoint is an enterprise software platform for collaboration and Web site development.
