RecycleMania 2010 results – Week 5

After the fifth week of RecycleMania 2010, Elon remains ahead of the cumulative pounds recycled (per capita) it recorded in last year's contest. Read this post for more details about Elon's participation in RecycleMania Week Five.

Elon recycled 8,457 pounds of materials for the official fifth week.

Per Capita Classic

Overall, Elon placed 102nd out of the 468 reported entries nationwide with a 10.17-pound per capita weight volume.

Targeted Materials: Aluminum/Plastic/Glass

Overall, Elon placed 10th out 298 entries for this category with a 4.79-pound per capita weight volume.

Targeted Materials: Cardboard

Overall, Elon placed 89th out of the 306 entries with a 3.13-pound per capita weight volume.

Targeted Materials Paper

Overall, Elon placed 137th out of 290 entries with a 2.24-pound per capita weight volume.
